Na elkaar ontmoet te hebben in Willeskop en daar ook getrouwd te zijn, emigreerden
Riet Spruit in mei 1961 naar Strathroy, Ontario, Canada. John was al in April 1952
hierheen geëmigreerd waar hij een bloeiend akkerbouwbedrijf opbouwde.
John Boere is een neef van Swiet Boere die is getrouwd met
Agatha Spruit,
de zus van Riet (Mary) Spruit en een neef van Henk van Vliet die op zijn beurt is getrouwd met
Adrie Spruit, ook een zus van Riet Spruit (Mary) en Agatha Spruit.
Remarks
After meeting each other in Willeskop and marrying here, Riet (Mary) Spruit
moved in may 1961 to Strathroy, Ontario, Canada. John had moved here already in
april 1951 where he build up a large farm.
John Boere is a cousin of Swiet Boere who is married to
Agatha Spruit,
sister of Mary Spruit (Riet) and a cousin of Henk van Vliet who is married to
Adrie Spruit,
also a sister of both Mary Spruit (Riet) and Agatha Spruit.
